Ant Brosilow

My Name is Anthony, but I am known to most as Ant. I am a southern California native who ended up living in Virginia, Okinawa, and North Carolina and now Vermont. I Served in the United States Marine Corps as combat photographer. During my tenure, I photographed crime scenes, military exercises, formal studio portraits, as well as a gained an extensive graphic design experience utilizing the Adobe Suite.

I grew up both in Huntington Beach and Hollywood. My Parents divorced when I was very young so I often moved back and forth between them. When my mother married my step father we moved to Virginia, then shortly after that to Okinawa, Japan. We only spent a little under a year there but I consider that experience a major part of my childhood. I left prematurely to what was going to be a three year stay. Back to the states to finish school and joined the Marines. Who shipped me to North Carolina, where I served on the Atlantic Coast. Shortly after my half way mark on my contract, I met someone who I can gratefully say, has changed my life.

Kayla Daughtry soon won my heart and my love. Once I was a free man from the military, we had a small apartment while she finished her multiple degrees from ECU, all the while collecting cats along the way. We packed up 3 cats and our turtle and found our way driving the 14 hours it takes to get to Vermont. After a two year stay, we packed it all up again and landed in Dunn, North Carolina to be a bit closer to family.
